Why are links so important? When we link build, we are building a microcosm for the world around us--or in this case, our blog.
Take for example this blog. Right now, it serves as a stand-alone blog, but once people build links leading into it, you will discover that this will stop being just a blog. It will be a blog surviving in a nexus of blogs, and will thus become a creature complete in and of itself.
